During his time abroad, he also traveled to more than 17 countries, gaining international exposure, cultural understanding, and global hospitality insight. This worldwide experience is one of the strongest foundations of Sushi Training Nepal today.

Chef Rajiv Rai built his sushi career in Germany, where he mastered:

Interestingly, Chef Rajiv did not begin his career in the kitchen.
He comes from an Information Technology (IT) background and worked for 2.5 years in multinational IT companies in Nepal, including:

His responsibilities included:
- Website coding
- Quality Assurance (QA)
- Technical project work
